This Is Our Story

Three years ago, Sandra and I decided to actively dedicate ourselves to supporting Ukraine. What began as a small initiative has since grown into a heartwarming movement with real impact. We organize events, raise funds, and actively involve Ukrainian refugees in everything we do.

Our organization is closely connected with the North Atlantic Fella Organisation (NAFO), an international volunteer group active mainly on X and Bluesky. Through those networks, we connected with like-minded people and deepened our commitment.

We work entirely as volunteers and are locally engaged in helping Ukrainian refugees. For example, I personally help Ukrainian children integrate into my sports club. We also involve refugees in the events we organize — together with them. That bond is mutual: the support and gratitude we receive in return is indescribable.

At local fairs and events, we sell Ukrainian products and souvenirs. All proceeds go directly to projects supporting refugees and humanitarian aid.

At first, we wanted to set up a Belgian branch of a Ukrainian NGO, but for practical reasons, we decided to establish our own Belgian non-profit. And that's how our idea became a reality.

We continue to grow — step by step, but with determination. Because we know what we stand for. This is our story, and we hope it becomes yours too.
